Can I ask you guys a question? Why do you think some people become rich while others remain poor? Why do you think some people are happy in their “careers” while others hate their “jobs”. Why do some people get married and stay married, happily, while others let their marriages end divorce? Why are some people fit while others are overweight. I honestly want to know what everyone thinks!

Venture & Virtue: “The Dapper Rebels” Project
Often when we look of the define the term “rebellion”, or perceive what someone who is thought of as a “rebel” may look like or carry themselves, it is usually paired with something negative. Looking to redefine the term, I had the privilege of inviting some friends rebelling through their own respective crafts to partake in the homage. This project, inspired by a photo story from the 1960’s depicting a group of ‘rebels’ during the Los Angeles Riots , allowed us to acknowledge the past but also explore the present and undeniable shift in culture.
As one goes up, the other goes down.

Happy Birthday to my Son! 5 years ago today he came into this world and changed my life. He’s my motivation. He’s my happiness. He’s my often times pain in the butt. 4 years ago today, we made a decision that would forever alter our lives. It’s been an amazing journey. Who knew way back then, that we’d be where we are today. So many couples who come together at a young age tend to grow apart, but you and I have been able to grow together. We’ve been able to teach each other. We’ve been there to support each other. We’ve learned to DREAM together. And we make a damn good team. I’ve learned so much about myself, being with you. You’ve shown me strengths of my own that I never even knew existed. You’ve given me the confidence I need to reach new goals. You’ve given me the love and support I needed when I’m down. And you always know what to do to make me smile. I’m so fortunate to have a partner, a best friend, a confidant, someone to cry with, someone to laugh with, someone to rent a redbox and eat coldstone with. I wouldn’t trade what we have for the world. It’s not often that people come together and connect that way you and I do. These four years have been amazing. But I know it’s only the beginning.
